Service Description

FTD stands for Full Traditional Diagnosis and forms the foundation of effective acupuncture treatment. What is it and why is it important? Following the Full Traditional Diagnosis, the practitioner determines which acupuncture system is most suitable for the patient. The acupuncture systems used by Attila include Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Five Element Constitutional Acupuncture, Classical (Daoist) Acupuncture, the Dr Tan Method, and Master Tung Acupuncture. Through a Full Traditional Diagnosis, the practitioner can address both the Ben (root cause) and the Biao (the outward manifestation of symptoms). This process also allows the practitioner to identify the patient’s Constitutional Factor (CF). Using acupuncture points associated with organs linked to the Constitutional Factor is considered to have the greatest impact on the patient’s overall health and long-term balance. When a Classical/Daoist or Constitutional Factor approach is recommended, it is essential to allow sufficient time to develop a comprehensive understanding of the patient’s condition. Equally important is ensuring that the patient has a clear and informed understanding of the nature and depth of the treatment process. Appointments only. Minimum 12 hours’ notice required for booking or rescheduling. Cancellations within 24 hours may be charged 75% of the session fee; no-shows are charged at 100%. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session; full fee applies. By booking, you confirm acceptance of the Booking Terms & Conditions.
